Yeah I do agree, I'm put off to use insurance since I got a 50% premium increase for a non fault claim on someone elses insurance... I wasn't even in the f**king car!
Why biting your tongue? Your input would be valuable.
I said that it would need to be confirmed if it could be saved?
Are my steps not the ones you would take then in his position? I'm not having a dig, just genuinely curious?
In your opinion would another RB door do not do the trick?
No idea how I missed this mate, what a cracking spec motor you've got from standard.
Personally, as you've not got a lot to spend elsewhere, I'd go for the //M sport thicker wheel and the gear knob to match (shorter, and weighted)! Would make the inside even better. Have you tried to restore...
I'm no bodywork pro, but this would be my course of action if I were to try and repair myself:
Source a door/mirror/side strip from an RB, ask Cliospares on here, or just search HARD for one being broke and you will find one eventually.
For now, run a random door off of a non sport you can...
Just look at Keiran's thread to see how they look.... Then sell them to Luke ;)
I think a sparkling silver, not high power almost white, but a nice metallic, like ford moondust.
Funnily enough I left my camera at home, but I have the memory card in my pocket, give me five minutes.
:o It doesn't miss you, it's cleaner now <3
Cheers mate, I actually quite like the maroon and it looks amazing modified.
Good man, silver FTW. Even my CSL's would be silver.
Re: CSHRSN (Ph.2) + Karting (Follow on from discussions at The Unit)
I haven't looked at links, if it's only short, then fine.
Booze up in greenwich/Cwharf could be good!
Please get silver williams wheels, I'd prefer anthracite, even though I'm a silver wheel *****. That red, anth wheels, polished silver lip. Mint.
Silver wheels will look just as good though, but they need a polished lip, Do it yourself with some wet and dry and metal polish ;)
Should have jumped in at some point, every one else does!
I've done carbon effect gear surround, ash tray, grab handles and window switches. More details are in my project thread. That's also a BMW MSport weighted gear knob. All of which I did myself, the shorter, weighted gear knob is much...
Yep it's the sport spec :) I've added some extras too so it's nearly full specced now! I REALLY want CSL's because they just look amazing on them, but I don't know whether to throw £1000 at it just for wheels...
Foam mod already done :o couldn't be without it.
Spec wise I'm pretty much there...
Rob gave me the same advice, so I guess I'll ignore Luke. ;)
I wasn't impressed with 3 at all, I thought I'd got dead square with the back of the car but I really hadn't, totally ruined that one really and wasn't going to post it.
Cheers for the critique though, I'll go take some...
Re: CSHRSN (Ph.2) + Karting (Follow on from discussions at The Unit)
I'll come for one or the other, I've got to be honest, getting proper tired, sweaty and minging, then going for a nice steak, isn't perfect for me. I'm too much of a tart.
Why are you a pauper member Rhys? Sort it out.
Looks like a cracking meet though lads, nice "club" feel to it too, rather than just a random mcdonalds car park where no one talks to eachother other than via tapatalk or some s**t.
Cheers chaps :)
Not entirely.... :o
Cheers mate, I liked the last one best?
I'm going to print off those crash 'tog guides that were on here ages ago, I PDF'd them at the time, and read them on the plane. Hopefully I'll get lots of practice shooting in full manual on holiday.
Sorry dude...
I'm also going to be having a go at fixing this myself:
The whole bumper needs a re-spray really, so I figure if I mess up blending this in, it's no big deal. It was the damage left behind from the block that had been dropped on the roundabout a few months ago.
