V is rated up to 149mph (standard 182 fitment)
W is rated to 160+ i think or somewhere along them lines
its explained on my tyres questions page i think
best example i can think of is being stuck in traffic, where you will accelerate to about 10/15mph then let go of pedal.. anyway, when i let go of pedal and the car begins to slow down, shortly after then there will be a knock sounding like its coming from the engine bay on the drivers side...
i got a photo of mine being really white, 800k is diamond white or something.. ?
will need to resize it later though and post it..
never once got pulled with 8000k
yeah think so ripez.
you dont like the blue?? thats the main characteristic of HID headlights?
they dont always look blue.. alot of the time theyre a very bright white.
full beam on it was TOTALY AND UTTERLY CRAP THOUGH! because it switches the HID off and just uses a small halogen crap bulb.. would be best if you could wire up so full beam has both bulbs working..
but when youve got mega stupidly bright dipped beam ya dont need a full beam really.
yeah, the 3beeps on locking is a common fault..
test your alarm by leaving windows open and locking the car, if i do it after about 5 minutes my alarm will go off..or as pete says, wave hands through the window.
ive got in car footage? doing laps of elvington and on york dragway.
for the york dragway one, see the thread ''clio tt at york''
also think dave may have captured my 182 on video in his ''york'' thread in here..
went to fuel up 182 earlier, and the fuel flap was stiff to open and it felt like it was going to brake off..
anyone had the same problem???
its under warranty so may go back to renault garage with it.
inside the wheel is the centre bore.. that bore slots onto a 'ring' that sticks out from the hub.. thats why the wheel is held in place while you bolt it up...
anyway, those 'ring' sizes vary on different cars.. so alloy wheels are made with a large centre bore to be used on various different...
after 20 laps screaming and sliding round every corner of elvington on pe2's.. it made my mind up for me about changing to paradas.
think the pe2's may have been over inflated though, put them to 34 front and 37 rear for the track ?
im changing from PE2's, to yoko parada spec-2's.
just ordered 4 from motorworld, 70 quid a corner.
means ive got two part worn, about 7mm left, pe2's spare off the rear though if anyone wants to buy them?
is that cup lad on here then??
re: the bonnet removal.. i took mine off once there at york dragway and the first run.. it started raining.. ended up with a soaking wet engine.. never bothered taking it off after that as i think it kinda tempted fate...
funny you should say this..
came out of work today, unlocked my car, ''beep beep beep beep'' so my alarm must have gone off at some point today aswell..
its never really gone off before. get the occasional common 2-4 beeps when arming sometimes though.
