Well that's s**t! I'd check over the 4x4 when it comes back, and just ask them if they hit your car. Probably deny it if they were happy to drive off though. Cnuts
Is the bolt an m12x1.5? Mine cross threaded last time it went in. Didn't snap, but was tight.
Wanting to run a tap down it once I remove the bolt down it but need the size.
It's hard to say. I think it's often best going in cheap, and then getting everything sorted yourself, so you know it's done right! I had the belts and water pump done, so that was £650, bonnet was £50. Probably talking £2k without modifications, which isn't bad. But the mod addiction always...
Cheers both. Still annoyed with this exhaust issue, as i bought the milltek to do away with silly olive joints, but then i end up with a fucked manifold!
I'd go for the 10mm rear hub spacers and then just hubcentric up front. I personally changed over to a stud and nut conversion as didn't want to run long wheel bolts. Either that or go for the more expensive bolt to up spacers, and use your existing bolts.
Had no issues with my current setup...
Gave it a much needed wash today. Shame it started raining so soon afterwards as I didn't get chance to wax it. It'll do for now.
I also touched in the scuff on the front bumper. I'll be wet sanding then machining this back but I prefer it already!
Anyone know of any genuine and good exhaust specialists local to Huddersfield or the surrounding areas?
Im wanting a v band welding onto my manifold to sort out that flange once and for all.
Fitted the gearbox mount and went for a little drive and it all feels so much tighter. Less movement in the gearstick too with hardly any more vibrations. Just need to sort out that snapped bolt eventually.
