Had it on Surrey rolling Road today...
Compared to my Clio 200 from February...
It really pulls through to the limiter now quite happily. The torque tails off but compared to the Clio, it still has loads more of it, everywhere.
Still very happy with it and loving how it now sounds and feels...
You publicly posted pictures and invited comments on a discussion forum.
It's not a discussion if everyone says the same thing...and as said above, maybe you shouldn't post pictures if you're not prepared to accept that (shock horror!!!) some people won't like exactly the same things as you...
If I had ordered one of these instead of the ST, I'd have probably cancelled it by now as well.
As said, all the prospective customers will be rolling in Fords and Peugeots by the time Renault have some kind of meaningful supply volume and a dealer network that actually gives a flying f**k.
I'm trying to talk my buddy into running his new ST as well but doubt he'll do it with less than 400 miles on the clock.
Looking forward to this! A couple of standard STs have run 204/205 on STOC...but I know Charlie's dyno is pretty reliable and consistent so will be interesting to see what...
I agree.
A more highly strung version of the same engine in a heavier and larger body mean they're always going to suffer fuel wise...so for me, the performance just about warrants the worse fuel economy.
If you can't ever get to use the performance though (i.e. your commute is stuck in...
Ginger!
Black works much better at the rear...try as I might I still can't get along with the coloured lower rear bumper...it looks like such a teenage afterthought. At least on the black it's sort of hidden away.
My mate picked his black one up this morning...he's on his way to me now...complete with orange interior! Looks great.
Look forward to hearing your Mountune thoughts N0ddie.
A little update here now having had covered just about 4,000 miles in 2.5 months and given it its first trackday...
MPG took the expected knock from a day spent thrashing around Goodwood...
I'm pleased to say that throughout the whole day, giving it as much pain as I ever did to either of my...
As N0ddie said, £1,000 gets you half leather and heated seats, privacy glass, projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, keyless button start, and the upgraded Sony audio/DAB/media unit.
Spoiler is staying, it's just no longer a stand-alone option for all other Fiestas.
I followed a Mk4 for a good few miles along a b-road this afternoon...obviously wasn't a 200T, but it reminded me why I originally wanted one so much...from behind they look fantastic.
Would still happily have one on the drive instead of the ST.
No. If I had, would I have skills too then?
Had no idea who the driver was, I just saw terrible hand positioning on the wheel (kind of important when you have a car that difficult to keep in a straight line) and one hand seemingly glued to the gear stick....which I've never understood myself.
