The American Dream - My Knight Rider KITT Project :-)

Clean that up fast, bloody corrosive stuff brake fluid. If it's on there too long, it'l need a LOT of prep to be painted.

    BurbleBus in the sunshine

Look blooming larvely. I still haven't been out since you fitted the exhaust.

    RIP Trophy 433/500

That's mental Luke. I'd call them on it, sounds like you're being fucked TBH.

Help !no 1st gear after fitting dog bone mount

OK so if you got first, but lost reverse, you haven't killed the box. I'm still going with linkage. It's a two man job as said, and does take patience.

    Lower balljoint removal

Correct on the TRE, what a little prick that is. 18's on the back of the brakes, 13's and a 17's on the sliders?

Do f**k off, something under there is 19 I'm sure.... Or maybe I made it up?

    E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project

Yep, 19's too. Just wired in my heated seats (totally at work, "working"). Work just fine as far as I can tell, but it's bloody hot outside so I didn't want to leave them on for too long. New control panel with two more buttons though, boss spec.

    Gaz.'s 1996 Mazda RX7 FD3S Efini (JDM & Rotary Content)

Tourings are cool in photos, and when incredibly clean, the rest of the time they do look like you own a labrador. Why not an e46?

Indeed they are, was thinking of the hub bolts :o

    E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project

Like I'd make any other. Going to sell my wheels, sling it on the track ones for a week and then go CSL style, all when I'm back from holiday. Shouldn't really do any more credit, but one little thing can't hurt, right?

Leaving your car at a garage for work!

If it comes back with any more than 30 miles on, I'd be asking what's going on.

Jon and Eddie's European Road Trip

I've been trying to plan one of these for a while, but then a load of my friends become jobless, and the ones with jobs got rid of their cars due to working up town :( Jealous chaps, have a cracking time.

    E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project

Heated seat buttons have arrived today, this is going to be fun..... Cheers mate, I'm actually a big fan of silver cars (can you tell), but to make them look good they always need to have things like mint wheels, and properly black black bits etc. Look forward to seeing some proper bits...

Exactly as above I think mate.

Buy a haynes for a Mini, or another random manual and off you go.

    Re-fitting seatbelts

It has to go inside the plastic bit mate, so slide the bar in, then bolt to body. Little fiddly, but easy enough.
  17. Rob

    Re-fitting seatbelts

I don't get how you can be stuck there, the belt threads onto that and then it bolts to the body. Done.

    Lower balljoint removal

Leave the shaft in, spanner on the top 19's, ratchet on the underneath. Once those are off the balljoint should be loose bar pinch bolt. Undo that, get your tool on it and smash the crap out of it.

My VTEC Mini - build diary

I want to build one, but nothing like this. Standard 1.3 lump or whatever, nothing too powerful, blue, spots on the front, newer shape, wide arches. <3 I wish you were my friends.

Fair point, well made. But everyone has to experience this at least once.

    Something like this?

Anyone good with photoshop or Illustrator?

It's a work in progress. I need a good sized illustrator file of the logo though.
  23. Rob

Anyone good with photoshop or Illustrator?

Ah right. With the logo not being a uniform shape, it's hard to do with a brush.

100% lost me. Explain a bit better and I'll have a crack

Help !no 1st gear after fitting dog bone mount

I reckon linkage, you can easily lose first if it moves a bit. You need one man under the car, then you in the car, move the linkage, try to get all gears, repeat.

    Re-fitting seatbelts

    Photo of where you'd lost?

Fork shaped one is fine, just be brutal with it.

The American Dream - My Knight Rider KITT Project :-)

Awesome, steering wheel looks really great, much better now. You've got to be pretty brutal with steering wheels sometimes, so man up ;) (or get a rubber mallet on it)

FFS that's ridiculous. One mini type r and m3, one mini type r and focus RS
