OK so if you got first, but lost reverse, you haven't killed the box. I'm still going with linkage. It's a two man job as said, and does take patience.
Yep, 19's too.
Just wired in my heated seats (totally at work, "working").
Work just fine as far as I can tell, but it's bloody hot outside so I didn't want to leave them on for too long.
New control panel with two more buttons though, boss spec.
Like I'd make any other.
Going to sell my wheels, sling it on the track ones for a week and then go CSL style, all when I'm back from holiday.
Shouldn't really do any more credit, but one little thing can't hurt, right?
I've been trying to plan one of these for a while, but then a load of my friends become jobless, and the ones with jobs got rid of their cars due to working up town :(
Jealous chaps, have a cracking time.
Heated seat buttons have arrived today, this is going to be fun.....
Cheers mate, I'm actually a big fan of silver cars (can you tell), but to make them look good they always need to have things like mint wheels, and properly black black bits etc.
Look forward to seeing some proper bits...
Leave the shaft in, spanner on the top 19's, ratchet on the underneath.
Once those are off the balljoint should be loose bar pinch bolt.
Undo that, get your tool on it and smash the crap out of it.
I want to build one, but nothing like this. Standard 1.3 lump or whatever, nothing too powerful, blue, spots on the front, newer shape, wide arches. <3
I wish you were my friends.
I reckon linkage, you can easily lose first if it moves a bit.
You need one man under the car, then you in the car, move the linkage, try to get all gears, repeat.
Awesome, steering wheel looks really great, much better now.
You've got to be pretty brutal with steering wheels sometimes, so man up ;) (or get a rubber mallet on it)
