Yea and to be fair at that age it will be due a damper rebuild which could be around the £500 mark.
I still think it will shift at that price without much trouble just because its a trophy, not my favorite colour clio if im honest. Good luck with the hunt :)

ooooohh this may explain why i got my car back from its service at the weekend and for no obvious reason it felt slightly strangled of power :S

as a general rule i like to think any naturally aspirated 2 litre lump in a larger car will be slower than a 172/182 and bearing in mind the clio is a small car there arnt many 2 ;itres that will out right beat the clio :) but there are exceptions to ever rule

Avit there are lots of terms we come to accept as normal speak :P iirc means if i remember correctly (for example) :D also buzz words like v-tec and twisties can be dropped into any sentence to punch them up lol
buy a copy of what car and have a look through the back pages they list most new cars and there 0-60 times, its tricky to find any comprehensive info on older cars 0-60 without searching for each one and even then the info you find maybe erroneous i.e. ek9 type r 0-60 :P

i hated my throttle response on my 182 till i got an rstuner now when i put my foot down.. it goes :P which is novel lol seriously worth every single penny!!
Im looking at changing my exhaust, the one i have was hand made by a guy who worked for infinity exhausts. When you want to drive fast it sounds nothing short of perfect but for the 95% of the time im not booting it its a bit noisy so its time for a change!!

Lack of power before 5k is normal :) RStuner will help alleviate this, but as far as im concerned when im driving the clio im either driving it fast!! or driving it slow there kinda isnt much in between.
My pet hate about my clio is putting my foot down at low revs in second and nothing...
