Well over the weekend it appeared the weather was looking fine, so we decided for sunday we would clean the cars and go to the local 'spot' for some pics
The line up:
Yaris 260bhp turbo!!!......soon to be 300bhp
The clio
Vts
mates immaculate EK9
bro's EP3
Few of...
Ive bought and sold bits off my car to level out costs but in its final guise before I sold it and bought it back were the following
2118 wheels £500
Coilovers £400
Whiteline Rear ARB £140
Ph2 Rear Lights £30
Ph2 interior handles £20
Cup Spoiler £150
Ph2 Rear Bumper £100
ph2 side strips and...
Sorry for the poor quality pic
Few idea's for you
I personally like them both, but only with cup spoiler's ;-)
Hope that helps make your choice
Cup spoiler FTW!
cheers mate
yea the fit is very good, it appears to be a 'propper' stealth, i.e you cant see it
a mate has a k-tec stealth and its about as stealthy as a fart on a packed train
The sound is nice and it appears to have improved mid-top end pull
lol oh its my old one just without the cup spoiler and different colour wheels, i wouldnt have bought a different one in silver, only 1 of 99 in iceburg :rasp:
Cheers for that mate, it needs a quik 2 stage polish with the rotary when I get chance, think someone has washed it with a grit bucket in the short time out of my ownership
I need a good sealent before I put wax on top of that, thinking of buying somemore zymol carbon for it aswell, give it a...
I couldn't help but lol at that
I quite like that mate, now you've levelled the ride height it shud look alrite for a work horse, you can have more fun in cheap cars than things like Clio sports etc, you don't seem to care as much and that's how they're more fun
the btb exhaust is now fitted, loving the extra bit of noise, Im not sure if performance has improved as of yet
The fitment wasnt bad and the quality is brilliant
Got my BTB stealth fitted yesterday and finally got time to give the car a good clean,
I clay-barred all of the car including the windows, and finished off with some white diamond show glaze
Loving the new btb, not too loud or quiet, still yet to see any performance gains but the fitment isnt...
It just goes to show how normal 'most' clio owners are, even the saxo/106 owners seem to be able to string a propper sentence together.
Must be a french thing :rasp:
Im not a fan of some of the mods, particularly them hidious headlight covers, but one thing is its always been kept immaculate and you can tell from the pics
I like how the new owner has it, looks really nice
I know the 106/saxo's have issue's with the crank sensor limiting revs
Check the wiring isnt damaged to the lambda or better still if you can, get it on a diagnostics machine
Saw this in the middle of newcastle city centre, looked like it had drove into the side of a taxi :( was going to offer to buy the cup spoiler if it was badly bumped :dapprove:
Just thought id pop a few pics up before its fitted tomoz
I first contacted btb last week about the system, there wasnt any in stock but they were in the process of making another batch :D
So I arranged to buy a system and called them up on monday, gave my card details and my delivery details...
