Rubbing tyres on arches over potholes ....safe to drive on the motorway ?

no never caught on that (that could just be your 205 tyres). It was VERY close to the arch, but never caught on it, just seemed to be a perfect fit with 195/45 I ran the rears without the adjusting rings/platforms at one point, and it still never caught on the back.

Rubbing tyres on arches over potholes ....safe to drive on the motorway ?

RS bumpers are taller than Non-RS. when i parked next to Immi in the past, his looked well lower from the front on, but the coilovers were set wayy higher.

Rubbing tyres on arches over potholes ....safe to drive on the motorway ?

cant really tell from this angle like, but i took a fair bit off both sides, as much as i could....never had any rubbing or anything (7mm spacers, 195/45/16 tyres, -0.5 neg camber) (bearing in mind my archliners are now back in due to me going back to standard)...

Rubbing tyres on arches over potholes ....safe to drive on the motorway ?

hacksaw/file/knife........so its like an L shape instead of a triangle. il go and get a pic now, sec.

Rubbing tyres on arches over potholes ....safe to drive on the motorway ?

i dont know, i noticed it was touching it when i lowered the car down after fitting, so i just got rid straight away i removed quite a bit, il get a picture tommorow.

Quite a few big problems with new coilovers .....

195 tyres are slightly thinner yes, i still had to run spacers to clear the shock though (but i had a bit of negative camber) so it wouldnt rub on the outer arch

Rubbing tyres on arches over potholes ....safe to drive on the motorway ?

he dosent, the coilovers have adjustable camber, the holes are slotted. They were on my car.....camber adjusted:

Rubbing tyres on arches over potholes ....safe to drive on the motorway ?

the front bumper? the bracket is like a triangle yeah? i used a hacksaw and cut it down to the smallest shape possible, then never had any problems

Quite a few big problems with new coilovers .....

lol ;) its so wierd driving a standard car, lol! 195, the width of the tyre is changing. they have adjustable camber because the holes on the shock that go through the hub are slotted, allowing camber to be adjusted.......i set the coilovers to max negative camber once... so i know its...

Quite a few big problems with new coilovers .....

the coilovers dont need camber bolts, they have adjustable camber. 195/45
