Where are these rack bolts? Just underneath the car, or is it access through the sides?

The price for the 8+ is reasonable through EE. I'm hoping to give them a call and get the price down as i've been with them from the start/since T-mobile were still around.

I'm on the hunt for a new phone, and i'm stuck between the s8, s8+ or the note 8+. Thoughts? Price and looks wise the S8+ is looking VERY appealing!

Do the ktec mounts need any washers underneath? I didn't fit it with any, but there is the tophat underneath.

Mine should be perfect as they're brand new bearings!

I didn't think it was too bad. Was easier to hang half out the car door though than get upside down inside

Well the tightening didn't rectify my issue. Still knocking. Just doesn't feel right, but everythings tight! Not too happy. They shouldnt be knocking at all Lee

Were they stainless steel? I bought the same, and they were just wayy too strong. Didn't seem right!

Sleeve nut, is that the nut you can see in the photo? Mines nyloc on the ktec ones.

They're all SMI iirc.

The spring is definitely seated properly? What sort of torque you putting on that middle nut?

Just got the gf to lean on the breaker bar with an allen key socket, and I used a swan neck spanner to tighten up the nyloc nut up more. Moved a little on both sides so fingers crossed this rectifies it.

Now I just recently refurbed some ktec top mounts with new bearings, shim and circlip. Before I did this I was getting a slight knocking from the front end, specifically when on lock up the dropped curb near my house to get to the communal parking. I presumed it was down to the topmounts being...

Just don't jump in. Cant say i'm 100% clued up on these as to what should and shouldn't be done at a specialist, but if something isn't right, haggle. The ball is in your court as you dont have to buy that car. Theres plenty more out there!

Just went to halfords to pick up a 17mm deep socket, and the car doesn't pull left anymore! (Even with a 10mm spacer on the OSR). My steering wheel is off centre though 100% so needs tracking up again.

I just looked at this picture, and going off the markings on the spacer it leads me to think that it was in fact toeing in. No other side of the spacer looks like that.
