Go to AAS like I already said mate, going to be just as good for a lot less money, they're on the doorstep as well so if there were any problems....from my experience there never has been, then you can go straight up
IIRC its lifetime warranty as well
I've also heard great things from the vauxhall crew and also some scooby owners so they clearly know their stuff
I went for the fixed but if I had the funds would've went for the adjustable
Fred- Did you test the fixed against the adjustable?
should be good, just got my new whiteline anti roll bar fitted, I love that thing so much, will have my other door handle fully colour coded by then as well so i will be able to wash the car again
You should all wash your cars, dont be scruffy Sh*ts, they need to be gleaming...
definately, not exactly a 'common' mod on the clio, although after the group buy I think people will cotton on to the idea and start to experience the difference's for themselves,
Id love to see the views of somebody already running on coilovers after they fit one

no problem, i went down to asda to get some ods and sods earlier and parked it as far away as possible so when I re-approached the car I could see the bar and yellow bushes in all there glory :D , Im a bush ***** :D

Im thinking of painting mine as its just before the winter, maybe put a little smidge of copper grease hear and there around the bolts so no water/snow gets to attack :)

It is visible from the rear, IMO it looks extremely cool
Car is completely standard, keeps the car nice and level without the effect of a harsher ride that you get with lowering springs
All...
nice cars there mate, like has been said, shame about the way the 172 ended up but moving onto better and brighter things, you have one very nice looking trophy there to compensate :)
I bought mine from Balance motorsport
Came to £105 for the fixed one including postage, I think the adjustable one comes in at just under £150 plus p+p
Definately worth buying imo, even in the wet it seems to have improved
Just finished fitting my new whiteline rear ARB on the 172, gotta say it took me a few hours, first of all figuring out what went where and also Ive got a cold so had the 'CBA' approach
Ive got a few pics of it but cnt get them on the comp for some strange reason
First Impressions:
A lot less...
second one looks better imo, no naughty tints :P
The guy you bought the 2nd one from is a pure perfectionist as well, i know the car I bought from him was
Re: DJRoberts Ph1 172 Supercharged Fast Road/Track ****
Sounds like Fk's will be the happy/medium between ride height and usability
I would go v-maxx but like you say, probably only good for lowering the car but even then they dont go low enough at the rear, and the gaz can be a bit harsh for...

This is in my local breakers up for sale for 2750
I noticed its got some nice bilsteins on, i think it has sold after being there for 2 days though
Re: DJRoberts Ph1 172 Supercharged Fast Road/Track ****

Im going to get a whiteline ARB for mine before i get coilovers as they're meant to be a very...
doesnt really sound like 2500 worth of repairs, you could probably get it fixed up for 1500
In standard normal state id say with that mileage it would be worth atleast 4500
do a quick guide mate as mine needs doing, I was told they have two bolts near the grill that you can adjust slightly to get them sitting better as mine is the same as yours :)
i went down but was in my mates 206 gti 180 on coilovers, saw all you guys parked up but didnt want to come over incase you thought i was some randomer
Ah cool, thats where im getting mine made....when i can afford it
Just down near the byker bridge in one of the side streets near the uni, i park the clio round there when i go to work,
Looked excellent though, is it a de-cat back or cat back system?
