I've always been of the impression, unless you spend loads of money on a 1*2, a exhaust/filter/remap etc makes naff all difference really. People buy aftermarket exhausts cos the standards ones fall off in no time and costs £700+

I'd personally go to Birchdown. Aux belt kit Cambelt Kit Dephaser, Done i think, unless it requires anything else.

pre 2003ish didn't have ESP/cruise. Actually could be wrong, can't remember if my 172 (51plate) had cruise as i never use it anyway.

The 1*2s are not rated for towing, but there is a trophy with a towbar on, but it's illegal I think. All the other clios are fine.

Demon tweeks did this to mine pissed me off, set the steering up, car drove fine but the wheel was probably about 30 degrees off centre when driving in a straight line.

Just use the old wiper and just replace the rubber bit?

Just sounds like they never centred the wheel when doing the alignment.
