I've always been of the impression, unless you spend loads of money on a 1*2, a exhaust/filter/remap etc makes naff all difference really.
People buy aftermarket exhausts cos the standards ones fall off in no time and costs £700+

It's 5k overdue a 12k service by the sounds of it, seriously go to a specialist, they'll be cheaper than Renault and know what they're on about.
Where you located?
Do the wheel bearings need doing? Full set of rear disks, with bearing in is about £100 + fitting (easy)
No idea on front as...
Demon tweeks did this to mine pissed me off, set the steering up, car drove fine but the wheel was probably about 30 degrees off centre when driving in a straight line.
