    Rear axle powerflex bushes

We had a lift and a garage full of tools and we still failed because we thought the beam mounting bolts were going to snap, so we just dropped it down a bit and swore at it until it was done.

    Rear axle powerflex bushes

No probs, getting the rear beam off was the hardest bit, but you've already done that so you're laughing.

    Rear axle powerflex bushes

The metal sleeve should pretty much be flush.

    Rear axle powerflex bushes

The Powerflex kit will 90% press in by hand, but you need some kind of constant increasing pressure to get them the last 10%.

    Rear axle powerflex bushes

You'll either need a bearing press, a threaded bar with two big washers and two bolts to tighten so it pushes them in, or this kind of thing that my mate used at his garage which does pretty much the same thing.

    Boot lock question

My car has always auto locked when i've only opened the boot, only opening the drivers door will cancel it, although tbh it could be the same for the passenger door, but I only get in the car through the drivers door so don't know if the passenger door cancels it too.

ClioSport Festival 2016 - Book Tickets Now!

I only had passenger rides last year but from speculating both on and off the track, everyone's manners were impeccable and showed each other a lot of respect, no maniacs or racing at all.

People I want to come that weren't there last year, @Deeg @Record Grey @The Russian. @Rob @Scrooge @cswalmsley @Sam (Bonxy Jones) @Luke @Toby, i'm sure i'm missing many people out I haven't seen/got pissed with in a while, but off the top of my head these are the people that would cause the most...

    Polybush advice pls

Yep, if you only ever buy one set of polybushes, buy a Powerflex dogbone mount.

    Rear strut brace with rarb

With no back seats my OMP strut brace was very good at stopping the shopping sliding into the dog under braking, useless for anything else though.

    OMP rear strut brace squeak

If you want, but it's sat behind the front door incase I need to tw*t someone round the head.

    OMP rear strut brace squeak

Mine squeaked constantly, but for the past couple of years it's not made any sound at all, that's because it's sat in the porch. Basically you'll never stop it squeaking, by bolting it down you're putting pressure on the bushes, which means the only time they won't squeak is when the car's parked.

ClioSport Festival 2016 - Book Tickets Now!

It just dawned on me that getting my track wheels, tools, beer cooler, food cooler and camping gear to fit in a Clio might not actually be possible.

    Help With EML Fault

That's the toxic fume warning light, god knows why an IK would trigger it though, unless the increase in airflow has made something freak out, never heard of it happening before though.

    Carbon Lorraine fitting

The what now? My car doesn't have those, the front pads just slot in and caliper just bolt back on top.

    Possible stupid question: mixing tyres..

Slightly higher pressures are fine as long as you keep an eye on them, obviously on warmer days they'll go up, likewise if you do your pressures on a warm day they'll go down on cold days. It really depends on the side walls tbh, if they're soft and folding over in corners then upping the...

    Possible stupid question: mixing tyres..

I've just got Rainsport 3's all round on mine, they've got very soft side walls and always look flat at 32psi on the front and 30psi on the back, so i've put 40psi all round and they instantly felt better and looked inflated. What Kumhos have you got, KU31 or KH31? I had KH31's on the back for...

    Possible stupid question: mixing tyres..

Different tyres front to back is fine, side to side isn't.

    Disappointment at Brembo discs

My rear calipers sometimes stick when pulling away, as far as I know all Clio's do it, at least every one i've been in has, also I have Brembo HC discs on the front and they have surfce corrosion on them almost every morning, all discs do it.

    Many Fault Codes

So it would appear there was nothing wrong with Lambda 1 or anything else for that matter, I had a look at the pedal box and when I touched the accelerator connector it clicked, I deleted the fault codes with my RSTuner and they've never come back and the car has ran perfectly for the past week...

    Rocker cover bolt leaking

I had one leaking a few years ago, removed the bolt, put some gasket sealant under the bolt's head, screwed it back in until it was just nipped, it never leaked again.

Awesome mate congratulations! It looks amazing all polished up. How's the rust issues, weren't you talking about a re shell, or did I make that up?

    Uniroyal Rainsport 3

I agree about the squirming under braking, but at 70-100 mine are fine, they're alot better than the RS2's I had, first hot day they ended up coating the sides of the car in rubber, the RS3's seem a lot better plus they grip from cold quite well on my 172, but then i've had tyres people with...

    Rear beam bushes

I didn't really word that post too well, you press the bushes and sleeves in together, they will go in 90% of the way by hand, but then they need a press to go the 10% that matters.
