Not really, some people take it off to save weight (not that it weighs that much), or to make oil changes easier, i'd say it's better to have one as if you do have a front end impact it protects your fuel rail from splitting and setting the car on fire, but people that run throttle bodies don't...
I always use Sainsbury's super 97RON and the car's just a quick as other 1*2s that are only ran on V Power, if I have to put normal unleaded in the car runs like sh*t, but that's to be expected having a 98RON map.

Yep, if we knew then what we know now we'd have been buying as many old Fords for peanuts as we could and sitting on them, be f*cking minted by now.
As long you had somewhere dry to store them, otherwise they'd just be piles of rust by now, but it was only 10 years ago they being flogged for...
Just got round to watching this months episode, I knew the Rotsun was a piece of sh*t but I assumed that was just the chassis, turns out the engine, gearbox and electrics are total junk too, best/worst car ever.
Sounds like it was a good weekend, you're right about making an effort about socialising, no matter what club you're a part of there are those that find it easy and those that don't, passenger ride stickers is a good idea though, we'll have to nick that for next years CSS.
