Thanks for the prompt reply edde. Looking at a couple of 172's tomorrow so will use this new found knowledge I have. The 172 I looked at today had a worn drivers seat bolster which obviously gets rubbed every time you get in and out, any idea how much it would cost to get this retrimmed?

Hi All, I am looking to buy a Mark 2 Clio 172 in the next few weeks. I have seen one on a 51 plate with 54K on the clock for £6k. What are Clios like at this sort of mileage? Is it better for me to hold off for something with a lower mileage? Do they get a bit rattly after 60k miles...
