Clio 172 Mileage

  RenaultSport clio 172 mk2
Hi All,

I am looking to buy a Mark 2 Clio 172 in the next few weeks. I have seen one on a 51 plate with 54K on the clock for £6k. What are Clios like at this sort of mileage? Is it better for me to hold off for something with a lower mileage? Do they get a bit rattly after 60k miles?

Anything esle I need to look out for when buying one?

Any advice would be much appreciated!:)

Milage would never put me off if the price is right that sort of milage is nothing remember the 72k service is when the belts are chnaged so its expensive though. The 172 engine realy get quicker with regualr servicing and milage particualy if its hard driven milage.

Thanks for the prompt reply edde. Looking at a couple of 172's tomorrow so will use this new found knowledge I have.

The 172 I looked at today had a worn drivers seat bolster which obviously gets rubbed every time you get in and out, any idea how much it would cost to get this retrimmed?
