ATM I am thinking about turning it pretty much back to standard mate, and keeping it as a daily driver for the GF. And moving all the parts over to a 172 cup + some buckers, roll cage etc. But i change my mind every five minutes :S

I'd fit the 182 manifold, but i wouldn't bother with the back-box.

Yeah it's great. All i did today was rinse with the karcher, then giving a good snow foam, rinsed off with the karcher and then dried. The wheels had a good squirt of i4detailing wheel cleaner and then just rinsed off. No buckets or mitts..Simples.

The engine is pulling better then ever ATM mate :approve:

I have a k-tec splitter on my 172, it's lasted over 30k and had 2 meetings with low kerbs. No different to a Renault jobbie IMO.

Well the GF was going to more the likely get a Fabia VRS, she now quite fancies having the 172 back as her 'daily driver' instead... Also TBH i don't really fancy stripping the 172 to within a inch of it's life as i/we quite like the luxuries That frees me up quite a bit of cash to turn...
