How lol? I click restore on the iTunes, it does all it's stuff, then the phone tries resetting then it all goes tits up.

It doesn't do anything, unless it's connected to iTunes then it just disconects it and reconects it. I have a feeling the file i downloaded from apple to update my phone is buggered, is there anyway to get that again

And i do this why? It dissapears from iTunes, then repapears and asks me to do the same thing.

Whenever restore has finished just say it's in recovery mode and it needs to be restored, never ending circle. tried uninstalling iTunes, the Holding down the power button and hom key, nothing.
