    May Photography Competition

I'd use the same logo, but no black background, slightly larger and less opacity, so it looks more like a subtle watermark not so full on. (Just me though)

    Project Ph-OneSevenTwo

Re: Project Ph-OneSevenTwo - ***Bloody Long Update*** Cheers mate, I do love a silver ph1 :o It's 90% done, switches are the complicated bit I'll admit but I'm quite sure I can write an idiot's guide on that now. Only thing I will struggle with is chopping and plastic welding the hazard switch...

    Engine Mount problem ?

I think some of the manifolds are dented as standard? Or at least I think that was the decision that was made last time this came about.

    Mass FCS introduction.

I'm no longer making it to any kind of night before thing, (the best part of the show IMO)... I'm coming up anyway to pick up some parts from Tunst, so I'll be there to say hello etc. :)

    Clean Silver Cup

    Project Ph-OneSevenTwo

Right then, time for a mega update: A lot has gone on and at one point I'd lost a certain love for the car, but recently it's back with vengeance and I've been cracking on. Since the last update the following has happened: Firstly, I took on the task of creating my necessary wheel, this was a...

    *FAO Electrical Experts - Urgent*

On Saturday my alarm (which has never worked), went off randomly, I couldn't stop it, and then randomly it stopped... Since then, my two indicator "arrows" on the dash clocks won't go out. They're always a little bit alight, not fully illuminated, (as when you indicate, they still come on...

Tool used to remove wheel nuts

Seriously? Break the damn thing open. And yes, wheel nuts can be done too tight. I personally don't torque mine, but I have a good idea of how tight they need to be.

Yes. Fine. My old Clio was on 8 year old shocks when I got it, I ran it for a year, then after that two years on 60mm apex springs. Not one problem.

    The daily runner

As great as the hangar sounds, it's over an hour for me so a right PITA!!! The driveway is in Essex, mr Giraffe's place!
  17. Rob

    Which height?

1st without a doubt, bring the front down a lot if you want to pull of the second one.

    The daily runner

Let me know when you've found these hubs/coilies. I've been offered a big drive way at a more mutual location by another member, we can crack on there. :D

    Ph2 rear bumper on ph1

From someone that owns both bumpers, don't do it. You'll only regret it and want to change back after a month or three. (It's a pig of a photoshop to do too)

    LONDON TUNNEL RUN *** 28th MAY ***

Sounds like an interesting night... the only problem being trying to keep a convoy that big together in London... it'd be different if everyone knew eachother, but it becomes a bit difficult when you don't even know someones name to tell them to wait. Any pics?

172 Ownership and Distinct Lack of Progress.

Re: 172 Ownership and progress. If it's ground floor we can just jump in the window, sorted.
  26. Rob

Yeah, it's gold. And it smells of warm horse sperm.

Get a job and fix it then. Bum If you've already got a job, get a second job.

PH2 shafts on a PH1, they the same?

iirc they don't fit, I'm not sure why (sorry) but I think you'd need the correct shaft. What side is clicking? I have a spare drivers side shaft.
