    FAO Server Guys/Geeks..

Nothing we do is majorly restrictive in terms on bandwidth, none of our drawings ever go over 5mb really. Ontop of that we're working on mobile BB on site  so things will be slow anyway. To give you an idea of typical usage... Come into office, pull a drawing off the server, work on it...

Does this allow access through the net though? Once I've set this thing up, I'll probably never be in the same building as it again!

    FAO Server Guys/Geeks..

External access would be the main point of the thing! We work in onsite offices all the time, I've never even been to our main office (Hereford). It'd need about 8 users external access, but that's on the VERY unlikely event that everyone was accessing at the same time. Dan - Didn't realise...

    FAO Server Guys/Geeks..

Hi. I've been asked to look into setting up a server for my work. We're only a small-ish construction company, we basically just want somewhere central to store our drawings. We want to be able to access them, edit, and resave them. That's about it really. From what I've read it's...

    55 plate 172???

There are a few about iirc mate. It's not unheard of for them to be late registered. Thing is with cars like this, surely the 5yr cambelt rule is more like 3 years?

Yeah, it's gold. And it smells of warm horse sperm.

Don't paint them, I actually quite like it. Fix the damn engine though you gypsy.

    Sneak peak..

You could have at least asked me what colour to do them, but as you didn't I'll reserve judgement until they're on the car. FYI, the only black to paint wheels in is ford gloss black, it's an awesomely shiny deep black.

Does Apple still offer an educational discount?

You can get higher discounts if the particular uni is affiliated with apple, my old one was, my current college (where I'm one day a week) isn't but I still just get a standard discount.

172 cup wont start, what to check?

It's quite random for a TDC to just completely go, they normally fail over time with intermittent starting, but anyway... Yes TDC and crank sensor are the same thing, it's easy enough to change/clean, so I'd clean it first, then change it if cleaning it makes a difference (as it's probably on...

FAO - Anyone that has done ph1-ph2 dash conversion.

It'd definitely be easier the second time around... Once I've ironed out the few kinks I think I'll love it. (I'm just a touch grumpy today).

FAO - Anyone that has done ph1-ph2 dash conversion.

I don't like it because it's all a bit tatty, if it were brand new, I'd probably love it. Give me a new dash top and I'll be happier. (and I need to fit dash strips). But problems... Blower related: I can't get the blowers to blow properly cold (I don't think the ph2 controls pull the wire...

Love you too.. x I'll be honest, it's f**king hard work. Quite a pain in the ass really. I've got most things working with a few annoying teething problems, but there's not much I seem to be able to do about them. Hopefully if I can get hold of a few wiring diagrams, I'll be away. As long...
