I haven't ran the same tyres front and back for ages,
atm i'm actually using 3 different makes which isn't ideal,
but at least the fronts are the same make. :o
Just WD40 it, that should make the catch move a bit easier.
I've been on here years and I could count on one hand
the amount of people that have had their bonnets fly open and there are alot of Mk2's on here.
Pretty sure that's why i've got odd noises from the back when cornering,
that's what happens when you don't own a torque wrench
and you snap your breaker bar putting your wheels back on.
Man after my own heart, i've often toyed with the idea of doing that to the dog kennel,
but I don't like it to stand out, so i'm saving all my ideas for when it eventually becomes a track car,
or the Ford Capri i've built in my head, if I ever managed to get out the poor house.
