Need to undue the dampers and raise the car up so the beam drops as much as it can, taking off the rear bumper helps to. If you don't want to keep the exhaust just saw it off.

I'd say £1k would be easy to get it down to Off the top of my head Cambelt+ Aux is £450 2 tyres £250ish for pe2s Rubbers £30 Brakes £200 for good ones fitted yourself. Exhaust buy a stainless one You not want it serviced at the same time?
