A full 'lap' but not filmed in the usual manner. I think this works well aside from a few minor timing issues (my patience ran out long ago).

Shame it was raining or I could have got footage from outside.
I'm trying to put together a full lap from different angles but this editing lark is taking me ages, so here's a clip of my faux pas instead for now.

This suction mount is impressive, so steady.
You comfortably beat more than a few 1*2s if I recall correctly.
In a f****** diesel fiesta van. Sorry, there's no nice way to say that. ;)
Very well done.
I want a ride next time.
Truth be told, this video was from a year or two ago. I leant Oms the tape to use when his ran out and found this when running through what came back from him on it.
The V6 was probably one of the Renault fleet cars they took to the RS trackdays to let everyone get a taste of driving other...
The V punished the driver for a little smallish error.
If you look closely he was still on the brakes as he turned-in, unloaded the rear and around he went.
Don't brake and turn ladies ;)
Yep, I got to spend some time staring at his face on Saturday. Jealous?
The Datsun looked alright though - I think deep down he was a bit scared though, waited until most had gone before strapping it on.
Very happy with the result on Saturday. The guy overlaid the curve from 13 months and 23,000 miles ago on the same rolling road with no difference in engine mods/setup...and it's not lost anything anywhere.

...from a rolling start the V didn't pull at all. Throw some 'twisties' into the mix and, well, see for yourself...

;)
Driver was Oms on his first ever proper trackday :approve:
Good work lad.
Harsh. Sounds to me like you might be trying too hard to convince yourself it was the right choice.
Don't get me wrong, I think the R27 is a fantastic car, well tied down, good pace, good looking blah blah blah...but you must be viewing your 197 through the normal 'new car' rose tinted specs...
Re: My Ph1 172 track sl*g Progress Thread
For Mr Burp to put the time up he achieved today at the Airfield, following his shocking RR result yesterday is verging on obscene.
I'll fear this thing when it's running right.
Well I'm very happy.
I made within 1 bhp of what it made at the same rolling road 13 months and 23,000 miles ago :approve:
Good to see everyone again today.
Mr Mahoosive - thank you...it's perfect.
Agree with that.
I had a TH42PX70B and replaced it with a 1080p Toshiba.
The Toshiba is a higher spec...but I long for the Panasonic when watching SD. So much better.
Re: My Ph1 172 track sl*g Progress Thread
You care to much about your passengers.
I'm not even going to bother with a proper seat/harness.
They can hang the f*** on, or rattle around like a pin-ball.
