Mine turned out to be my top gearbox mount, had lost it's bottom nut.
Not something you can see without taking the whole damn thing out... but for the price, I'd get a new mount for it and check everything's ok.
It's always the way (wishing you'd bought something when it was cheap).
Get some shots up when it's properly clean, I look forward to seeing the paint on the wheels.
My only issue with one is that you've got to ***** about getting them off of your laptop, just to do this, time you could have spent watching them on the laptop, no?
Unless you're going on a train somewhere or something obviously.
Re: Dave.'s Trumpeted Engine Spec, Cammed Up Gunit, 2118'd Carbon Vagina Boob obsessi
Such a tidy install.
Wish I had the balls to spend this sort of money on the Clio.
Calipers make a surprisingly good improvement.
The most common issue on the normal engined clio's is the speedo sensor on the box giving up, might be worth giving it a go.
You've done a good job repairing that mate.
I'm sure you people just decide not to tell me these things until I've gone out and sorted the issue.
Ah well, my car works, and that'll do me.
It was only the CV joint that was ruined anyway.
Break it, buy another, start again. ;)
But seriously I just had that done, which is just part of servicing... but singular expensive parts on a cheap car (imo) are often better sourced second hand.
Really?
Shite.
I left my old shaft round Mikes....
Only the CV that was knackard.
Oh, and 200+ on a driveshaft for a car worth 2k? Not being tight, but that's madness!
I like that. Do they do a different grille for the mk3's?
I know nothing past the mk2 if I'm honest.
Rear wheels out while improve the looks a fair bit.
Brilliant now, but it wasn't the cause of the vibration.
The top gearbox mount was fudged, so that's sorted that, the drive shaft has fixed my CV joint issues though :)
Bugger. Should have popped over really.
Looks like a very nice morning/afternoon that. Nice pics too.
Sorry I couldn't be there, but repairs had to be made.
I'd have popped over tonight Rob, but I figured you and Sash may be having a nice coupley night in as Dan's away.
