Well considering the parts are £200ish that labour is about right. I wouldn't take mine anyhwere that does not have the tools or have not done them before.

Because the reason the car is moving forwards is cos the clutch is biting, it might not bite if the matts removed because you'll be able to push the clutch pedal down slightly more.
