Had the car mapped today as just wasn't running right on the ecu I had bought. I had it done at chipwizards as Wayne there is one of the best at mapping the standard ecu.

Depreciation used to be the killer for me. I used to but new cars as they had warranty etc but now I happily buy five year old audis etc.
It may cost £300 for a clutch or cambelt or something but that's still better than the £3000 it lost the moment the new owner sat in it!

Obviously not driven it yet but so far on paper it's got everything I need in a car. Four doors because I'm 30 and not 17, better fuel economy, decent styling and its a Clio and for some reasons I love Clio.

You just need to give a motor time to get attached to it.
Youre getting like I used to be with a never ending cycle of cars that you're never really happy with.
Id get the belts done at £450 or whatever it is. As has been said you get a reliable car that you will get your money back on when you choose to sell.
Seems like a no brainer to me, especially when you got it so cheap.
