That's the fastest part of the circuit Chris...and you still get pictures like that :D
I so need you to come photgraph me for a day at Goodwood.
Tell me what you need to make it worth your while? It'll be more than worth it in my opinion.
He's only been driving a few weeks and he drives like that?
Do every other road user a favour and claim from his insurance...make it too expensive for him to get a motor that'll cause even more carnage with an imbecile like him behind the wheel.
No not the V6, I mean all the drifty/slidey stuff if it's so quick through the turns?
Why aren't race cars all set up like these drift monsters?
You didn't mention exit speed above...which is all important as I understand...is that why?
When I took one round Brands it felt superb, just was missing that certain something. Va Va Voom isn't it?
You should stop being so defensive...I like it (as I said before)...it's just too grown up and not enough of a hooligan for me.
When it's lost 200 kgs, the steering's been sorted (as Mr...
How naive you are - how long have you been on here?
A lot of us will have driven the 197 on track/road probably before you were even aware it existed.
Come along to Brands Hatch on 14th May, show us how superior your car is?
I'd love you to take me round.
LMAO
Hot hatch = hooligan
197 = family(ish) fast car that handles really well
I think they're gorgeous, well built...just not the right car for me.
I also think you're trying to hard to justify to yourself that you made the right purchasing decision.
And suggesting that we all need to...
He is, and his car is a nutter. Runs in excess of 200 brake (and that's genuine), has an LSD fitted, brakes, suspension, cage blah blah blah - Mark Fish looks after it for him I think.
He sprints/hill climbs it, and when he took me round Brands in it, it pulled 5th gear along the straight like...
They do struggle a bit once 120 comes up.
Was talking to Paul J at the airfield, his GSXR 750 goes from 0-130 quicker than a Clio 172/182 goes from 120-130.
That kinda puts it into perspective.
Those pedals and mats make me want to vomit. Those and the gold highlight round the bonnet vent make it truly Max Power IMO.
Group N? Couldn't he have just had it serviced at Radbourne, and got a tax disc holder from them?
Where are all the details/photos of what's important?
Come to think...
No offence intended, but I think this sort of thing can make you a worse driver.
In the good old days, you bought a fast car, and you either crashed and died, or learned how to control it.
Now, you can just mash the pedal come what may.
I was running Dunlop D01Js though...the Mk1 valvers seem more prone to doing that...must be the way they're setup as they were all running normal road tyres, and still cocking it up high.
