Good luck with your makeshift mansion, posh doesn't mean waterproof,
just ask Funk White.
Last year my £20 quid jobby was the only tent that didn't flood. :D
Pop up tents are where it's at Wobblec0ck,
throw it in the air, it pops open, lands ready for sleeping in,
crack open a beer and take the piss out of others struggling with their tents. :approve:
Re: Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics.
I doubt active members would believe a word of what he said anyway,
you just have to type 'cam belt snapped' in the search bar to see how wrong the OP is.
It's his inability to believe anyone's opinion other than his sales manager mate that gets me,
as if...
Re: Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics.
I like how angry this thread has made Chip,
I think he may actually punch the internet in the face if the OP comes back online. lol
Re: Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics.
Mate seriously, this forum is full of car nuts that spend a fortune on their cars,
have them meticulously serviced, wax them every week,
and loads of them....I repeat....LOADS OF THEM,
have had cambelts snap way before the service schedule.
Re: Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics.
I once thought a crisps packet followed me home whilst on acid,
but i've never got so wasted I thought an engine swap was around the same price as a cambelt change.
Re: Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics.
I'd imagine loads of people that don't maintain their cars properly have never had their cam belt changed,
however I doubt you'll find any of them on here.
Re: Cambelt Con/Rip off tactics.
Apparently the whole depaser thing is a load of b*llocks too,
when they're worn in properly they're meant to sound like a knackered old black cab.
