Yeah, tbh having more SMDs isn't going to achieve a lot more.
Unfortunately you're too far away for a side by side comparison, just remember how far my bulbs were lighting up the touring field at CSS and compare that to yours lol.
Will a pair of kidneys, a bollock and a lung be sufficient?
Actually, I'm going to need both b****cks to drive it.
Oh, and apparently one of wick's photos has malware attached to it.
Of course, with the right setup, you can combine power and handbrake to hold the back out, but you will absolutely destroy rears, and will absolutely need a hydraulic handbrake.
I've only deliberately put the car sideways twice, on the roads. First time was to avoid being tailgated by entering a corner at a silly speed, and again when I entered another corner at a very silly speed. Small jink to the right, then about a quarter turn of lock to the left and lift right off...
Went to fix the satnav on the stereo, and after a LOT of swearing, amazingly I did it. Well, sort of. Need to wire up some bits to a permanent and switched 12v, and earth. But it works! Also managed to fit the video input leads too, so hopefully that works when I go to fit something to it.
:D
Sorry Goodj, you're wrong on that one. If you look at most GT/touring car classes where rim size is not so restricted you'll find they use huge ones.
As I said in my earlier detailed post, they are better for grip on smooth prepared surfaces but provide less feedback and aren't as good on...
You flatter me, lol.
My reverse bulbs are probably a little bit brighter, the CREE bulbs are stupidly bright, but you've reminded me I still haven't done my brake lights yet. FFFUUUU.
Car's looking good :)
I thought the bulbs you suggested for the maplight were the ones you use, which IMO are a bit dim.
In terms of lighting the standard interior light I just had 16SMD festoons, jacked together like so: (one is reversed)
But I suspect you can get away with 2 24 or 36 SMD panels next to each...
If you have the map light, it's two W5W (501) bulbs.
If you don't have the map light, you need to be handy with a soldering iron to solder in two bulbs, one opposite polarity to the other. 38mm Festoon. Or you can just get the maplight!
EDIT: I think the bulbs posted above for the map light...
I can see Rob (Plymcl)'s point tbh. There is no way the size of the rim should affect your arch liner or cause rubbing. The outside diameter of the wheel does not change, just the amount of it which is the rim. That is caused by either having a wider rim/tyre, or a different offset...
It'll be from moving the seats back and forward, the connectors they used for the pretensioner wiring were an absolute pile of s**t to put it frankly.
If wiggling the connectors doesn't work, you may have to take them off and solder/crimp the wires together instead.
