Is the 12v socket permanent live? Pretty sure my 16 plate shuts it down after about 15 mins.
If you were to do the power magic pro you would also need to buy fuse taps and some extra fuses. Which is c.£4-5 on top of the £30.
Must add it's really easy to do a 'proper' install in the focus.
Would hate to see how ruined the seat bolster are on the recaro's with those 80 year old derrières collapsing onto them every time they get in the car.
Good luck with it. post some pics. Less power doesn't always mean less fun, I've seen one of these being thrown round corners getting a proper lean on. Looked a right laugh!
I was run over when I was 16 competing in the Bracknell half marathon. The roads were not closed (it was a marshalled race) and a car decided to pull out of a junction right in front of me and sent me flying. I had to have a reasonable amount of medical care which my medics insurer wanted to...
I can 2nd Mike though since he started tinkering on large trains, he didn't have as much free time. Engine Dynamics in Essex would be about the same distance away as Nottingham is from Slough and know their stuff.
That's good news. When my 1st car was written off by an S Class merc on the M1 it took over a year for me to receive the money. I was the front of a 4 car pile up and the merc that hit me was contesting that it wasn't their fault they hit me (which it wasn't). Very frustrating!
All depends on type of gap insurance you have and the exact terms on the policy doc. Go through them with a fine tooth comb. Hope you're able to get your deposit back and sorry to hear about the financial hit due to excess etc.
