mine doesnt rattle... i simply took the back off and placed a foam pad to the back of each of the buttons. Now its silent.

I have the standard cassette HU with cd changer in my 172... can i attach a seperate amp to the unit to power the uprated speakers ive installed?

52 plate would be a Mk2... the interiors arent the same. the front seats on the Mk1 have a coloured RenaultSport logo... the Mk2s have a silver logo and a sort of honeycombe pattern in the alcantera. The Mk2s have the later style dash.
