Only Renault sell it I found, was about £23 or something, it just sits ontop of the back of the gearbox, unplug the connector from the top, then it just twists a bit and pulls out.
To be fair, unless you've tried to do it recently, insuring a car for a 17/18 y/o is beyond a joke now.
Even on a 100£ mini metro or something it'd be over £1.5k.
That's the problem, there is no fuse on the 1.2's that came without fogs. So factory fitting would mean running two wires to the fuse box yourself, putting connecotrs on the end, bodging into the fuse box and sticking a fuse in.
One option would be to buy normal Team Dynamics 1.2 and then have a silver lip polished onto them and get N2Grafix to make you up the lettering around the edge??
Edit: Is this not them?

Oh and I've got my camera sorted now so if you're about to get it done one eveing, we can get some evening car park shots too (not a particually good camera, but I have a mini tripod and it makes for a better evening photo due to no shake with longer shutter times)
I'm confused, why are you buying mike a beer? And not me?
Even pads mate??? If not I'll pick some of those up tmrw or something.
Once we're done with fitting, I'll buy you that bud down my local. ;)
You're a diamond.
Cheers Daniel, I'll check it soon, its definately one of them, as I've had one go before and it sounds exactly the same.
S'alright dude, just what happens when you buy second hand motors I guess.
I spent thousands on that 1.2 before it worked beautifully, I just hope the same can't be said...
I haven't checked it Mike, but the rear brakes looked shagged anyways, I'm 99% sure its a wheel bearing as its there when I turn engine off or clutch down etc and I can hear it coming from the back.
How do I go about checking it??
