I don't think it was a compromise, I think its a complete a accident, as I said, it's impossible to drop signal in a 100% 3G area, I literally can't do it, but with normal signal, it drops like a stone if you hold it quite naturally, or if you hold is sideways to web browse etc.

Could not disagree more, I didn't buy an "iPhone with bumper", I didn't sign myself to 18 months of paying a contarct for an "iPhone with bumper", I paid it for just an iPhone, and if it doesn't work, they should sort the issue, not wrap it in some shoddy plastic.

That's exactly what I've found, strong 3g like I currently have at work, and it's bullet proof, literally can't make it drop, weak 3g or just "e" and it all goes tits up. Mine will be going into apple, how soon depends how much it annoys me.

Sell it, either on here or on ebay, a lot of people are looking to pick up a 3GS for a good price as they don't need/want a 4, but want a nice reliable iPhone :)

Ok so the signal thing does not happen when you've got high signal, which may explain how it was missed, at work I get 100% 3G 1000000% of the time, and I couldn't get it to drop for love nor money, where as at home, where its not perfect I can make it drop. I think we'll all end up changing...

No signal problems, at all, 'topher, I want a screen protector for the back, but can't find one. If you buy one for the front, buy the ones posted in my link, they need to be tri-layered, that way you can get them on 100000% perfect and they can look totally invisible tbh.
