So I have another RR day tomorrow. Additional mods for this round are 182 manifold with an improved decat. Also a different exhaust system. So be interesting to see if there is any difference 🙂 any guesses welcome
Iv had a faulty reading on my ph2 for a while. Temp would drop under acceleration and return. Iv played around with the wiring to the sensor and it seems to have fixed it

Fit is great. No knocks/banging plus the hangers are a great fit compared to ktec etc that pop out of the mounts
Noticed the bore is quite small tho so awaiting dyno results compared to the old ktec system I had on it
Recently had this done at my usual mot place. Ended up paying £50. Mobile tyre guy wanted £70
Iv had then done for £10-£20 in the past but prices seem to have gone up alot now
Next time il pay the mobile guy as it saves the hassle

Yeah iv left mine as it's a ballache to remove again. It's trashed a tensioner and itl jump a rib from time to time so just worth double checking mate 👍
Nice thread this 👌🏼 just a tip, be careful with these pumps as iv fitted the same one and it's pulled my aux belt out of alignment. May want to double check it whilst your engine is still out 👍
Glad iv found this thread, just had a plug pop out on my 172, checked plug and doesn't seem to have much thread collected on it. Tried fitting a fresh plug and it feels as though it's about to strip whatever threads are left. Il order the same helicoil that you have purchased. My question is...
thought id jump on this post instead of starting another. is it possible to fit component speakers to a 1*2 without the crossovers as they have a mid/tweeter setup already? just iv fitted a set that i had laying around and they are alot quieter/shitter than the standards

Anyone know a common cause for this? Seems to flicker on acceleration as if some engine movement is affecting it. Also have a faulty temp guage which could be connected as that seems to drop during acceleration

Go view both imo, I have a ph2 172 and always wanted a ph1 until I sat inside one. Standard spec 172 cups are the ones to get imo if your hoping to have something appreciate without getting a trophy
Saying that I do love the look/colour of an exclusive. Just the interior 🤢
