Re: Project 172 **** ITB'S - 204bhp *** February Redline Feature
Spec-2's FTW.
Just be carefull when you first put them on as they i found they are quite greasy for the first 50-75 miles of so. I had 4th gear wheel spin when i went over a tiny dribble of water on the road :S
Did the CL pads...
Re: One Year on & £**** spent
Oh right i see,
Did you refurb the wheel yourself?
Also did you have it professionaly polished or anything before i bought it?
Also did you strip it out at some point?
And one more thing did you ever do any track time?
I've allways wanted to know those things...
Very very nice Dan.
It sounds like we have had a very similar upbringing whilst owning our 182's
Still lots more weight that can come off your car i can see.
Rest of the tar
Brown sound stuff behind the dash
All the little unused clips from your interiour
Door cards

Re: One Year on & £**** spent
I do a bit of import, export, buying, selling to make money for my toys (not drugs, guns or slaves though)
Nope, no aftermarket cams for me, I'm going to get an LSD at some point but they are quite expensive.
My wish list is:
Full cage (not a dash dodger)...
Re: One Year on & £**** spent
I will need a job before i can start buying more parts for the clio.
Anyway these came the other day,
My CL pads have eaten all the grooves in my last set of Max's lol 18,000 miles and 4 trackdays, i'd say they have done me proud :)
Re: One Year on & £**** spent
Yeah i'm just gona use the standard switches for now. I'l put the passenger side loom back and hide all the switches in the door so there is no wiring on show. The door looks mint with no wiring on :)
I'll do the drivers side at some point this week and up date...
Re: One Year on & £**** spent
So here is the door loom.
You can see there is the big plug on the bottom left.
Just above that is the qwitch and the electric motor connector.
I've just had a thought. If i'm re-routing the drivers side switches to next to the gear stick then i dont need...
Re: One Year on & £**** spent
I spent 30mins having a look at how it could be done. I didnt realise that the wiring in the door is a seperate loom and has one big connector which goes into a connector on the car.
I pulled all the furry tape off and the wiring really isnt that long. SO, i...
Oh right,
I've wanted to relocate my switches there for ages. Was that also done by the last owner?
I dont suppose you could get a photo of how they are mounted?
I might start relocating them tomorrow :)
Gosh, i have RC5, have done 4-5 trackdays and about 8000 miles and mine still look fine. maybe lost 1-2mm
Thats very strange. must be the new RC5+ that might have a bad batch.
My EBC green stuff broke up.
