aimed at blueflame zorsts Im guessing lol
I aint changed my airbox and nor will I be as I don't see it as worthwhile.
Purely changing my zorst for improved quality over OEM and a lifetime warranty, not looking for gains.
nah this isnt silly at all this is reality, people slate them cause they're s**t, all show and noise and no go. except in the cold.
yes those pictures show ok and better, worst of all being with no cold air feed at all. heat soak is still an issue as the heat from the engine bay radiates...
cant fix a buckled wheel as far as I'm aware, would probably destroy the finish trying to do so then need a refurb anyhoo so get a 2nd hand one is best bet me thinks
i have thousands of t pieces spigots bungs etc at work, what diameter is the vacuum pipe?
where does the vacuum come from? inlet manifold? if so not blocking it off could lead to the engine running lean as its drawing air direct to the cylinder head and could damage valve seals, piston rings...
make sure there's no issues with fitting it o the exhaust you have i.e. from the cat back, some people have problems with their mix n match systems blowing from de-cats, if its a sports cat u may as well get it welded together I guess.
most likely coil packs, renault really cant make / spec good ones, very common problem. change em yourself (4 of em), dont goto renault anyway. £30 each prob from reno + labour, half that from Euro car parts or similar.
aye but naw.
Open IK will kill power in the heat, needs a very good cold air feed. Rufstuf has a 172 cup and on a hot day last year we went to Knockhill, he was sturggling to keep up with my 182 which is standard, he had an open IK and cat back zorst on.
He keeps up just fine now he has the...
yeah but the standard air box is far better than an open induction kit. hence the most popular mod there is an ITG panel filter in the standard air box.
a cold air feed to the a hole in the standard airbox would be better IMO (if done properly)
I totally DISAGREE
drive a 172 / 182 on a cold day fine and dandy
drive it on a hot day its s**t, heat soaked and really lethargic and unresponsive, definitely power drop. And that's just with the standard set up.
Viper is worse particularly on a hot day, any open IK will slow your car, ask...
Re: How fckuing coo ar Ipods?
I tunes sucks big hairy boaby lol it infuriates me! Ipods are cool though, alternative software e.g. anopod is far superior in terms of use IMO drag and drop etc. no waiting for it to load up etc.
but does that matter at the price? i.e. it's 3" pipes with 3.5" tail trims, which is fair enough innit?
and its got lifetime warranty so the welds cant be that poo?!
you get what you pay for, and it is without doubt the best value for money.
u cant get the renault sport logo, renault will refuse permission as they're going to start their own mats. Justmatz won't make them without confirmation from reno you have permission.
182 logo? whats that then? basically custom logos are dearer.
cant get front mats only, supplied as a set...
