Woohoo my friendly neighbour took them in for me.
a few pics, you can see old drivers mat v's new drivers mat and the reason I decided to do this group buy lol.
Feel free to nominate me as a recomended buyer / seller folks as I'm not on the list. :(
dunno bout the bootmats will email them after work.
Its good that the heal pads to the left as its under the brake and clutch pedals that mine wore through so that seems fair to me.
the RS Clio mats have a fixing system where the lower part gets spiked into the carpet. and then the moudling on the mat just pops over it. I havent seen the justmatz ones yet so can't be 100% that they're the same.
very good timing, broke the fixing on my passenger mat yesterday and am very...
there'll be a card throught the door if they tried to deliver the mats. They'll try to re-deliver on Tuesday between 9 and 5.30 call and there will be a number on the card for u to arrange an alternative time or to go collect from local depot.
Well thats my car cleaned and hoovered inside ready for the mats, sisters on a back shift so might just get them tomorrow rather than having to wait, fingers crossed!
5w40 synthetic every 6k miles for me. might do it a bit more regularly now I'm taking longer to cover 6k miles.
water is only 1% less efficient as a lubricant than oil by the way, but its the viscosity and corrosion inhibing properties of oil that u want and protection over a large temperature...
i'm also 6ft3
I have the seat all the way back and as low as poss, its still too high by a fair bit but it is pretty comfy, just not the most planted driving position.
As for the wheel, i cant have it at its lowest as my knees / thighs would hit it.
it's a hypothetical question, the whole point in custom exhausts is for better gas flow surely?
So, IF it's better, why is it pointless?
one for BenR or similar to answer.
hardly extra weight really.
just seems sensible having 2 straight pipes (with silencers where req'd) as opposed to one pipe which has to be bent to mate with the 2 branches of the manifold.
I guess the cat would be the problem if you kept it, don't want 2 cats! lol
muc off is very alkaline and can react with anodised aluminium surfaces, make sure you don't leave it on for more than 5 mins and are very thorough when rinsing it off.
It's not as strong as it used to be but just to warn...
OK so the 182 has a 4-2-1 manifold. would it be possible to have just a 4 - 2 and then two single seperate pipes to two single seperate tail pipes which from the back would look normal.
I only ask as, as far as I can think it'd be free-er (new word for Saturday night) flowing to have this than...
a card should be put through ur door then. and u call them when u get home and say keep it at the depot i'll pick it up on saturday or whatever suits. it aint difficult
My mate has one running 190brake and he hates it. Each to their own, I think u'd probably get bored of it quite quickly. But if you are prepared to add coilovers or whatever maybe it wont be so bad.
Anniversary edition looks good, and Ali's dads R32 is lovely.
My mate has a 1.8T golf gti (150brake standard) and he went to get it chipped, imagine how gutted he was when he found it the previous owner had already chipped it! It was runnin 190brake and he thought it was s**t slow, so he's looking for something else now.
should be a noticeable difference...
we use citylink with my work and they aint bad at all for us. And we don't get many customer complaints either. But it tends to be warranty repairs we send to customers more than new product. Our dealers take care of that.
ach well I'll get my card on Monday and call them to say I'll drive to...
