The game postage is a scam. I ordered and only paid for the £10 one and got it earlier than people paying for the £20 option.
They also cant refuse a refund if its lost in the post anyway 😂
If you're worried theyll come back just get a cat for MOTs and run a decat. Either that or buy a cheap aftermarket cat off Ebay. They're not worth enough to steal.
You need 1 post cat lambda.
Nightmare! Knew it wouldnt be long before they started targeting the clio as the cats are worth £450 scrap!
If theyve damaged the manifold it's a subframe drop job to replace. You can pick on up for about £50 though. I'd then be getting a simple sports cat or decat that joins up to your centre...
Passed its MOT with flying colours today! Such a pain getting onto my driveway with the cat now though but I do enjoy the quiet drive at low speeds with just induction noise then the chatter of the milltek at high revs!
No pics but had a fairly productive day today. Tidied up more of the wiring and refitted the lower dash panels.
MOT tuesday so set to getting the cat installed. What an absolute b*****d that was to remove! The sleeve joint had seized up and took me over 2 hours of hammering, heating and oiling...
Tbh I dont know how well a set of blanks will work as the wall thickness towards the back is super thin. The original fixtures must absolutely piss air out of the sides! Barely even connected up and come out with a tiny tug.
Started to give the inside a clean and got sidetracked by all the badly routed wiring inside. This has been down to dashcam installations, terrible alarm wiring and then the usb fitting I did when I first got the car.
Spent most of today rerouting all the dashcam wiring and making it much...
Unwrapped this bundle of wires today and found the connector within.
Mad how much wire there is! Cant believe they didnt make one that was the perfect length for the clio considering how many they fitted. Anyway, disconnected it for now and going to try de-pin and shorted the whole lot...
Yeah, I think so. Dont want it having a fit and causing immob issues or something daft.
Found the wiring diagram for it and it suggests theres a connector prior to it going into the fuse box but no idea if thats true!
I have noticed theres about 10metres of wiring tied up and tucked under the lower dash that goes to the little LED for the cobra alarm..
Can I shorten this without any problem? I presume it's fine but want to check before messing around with non factory fit alarms...
