lol i saw you got yours for 80 quid and was very jelous :evil: but £51 takes the biscuit :)
they still are selling for good money though, one went for 160 quid last night and one is on now for 130 quid with 40 mins to go so im very pleased.

Fitted standard lights and 16" 172 alloys.
going to bodyshop this weekend and next week to get tidy'd up and a cup spoiler fitted.

put the standard rear lights in and replaced the aftermarket 17" alloys with some standard 172 alloys. Its going to the body shop at the weekend to remove dents,tidy it up and spray and fit a cup spoiler. Because of this i couldnt polish/wax etc so excuse the grubby-ness.

hmm i think it could be a lamba sensor as it seems to be over fueling as im getting below 15 mpg and when i parked it in the garage for literally 20 seconds the whole garage stunk of petrol.

The cars been running fine so i decided to fit my 172 alloys and give the arches a clean. after pressure washing the arches and wheels when starting the car the engine management light came on and stayed on. the car still seems to be running fine so im not sure.
is it just a matter or crap...
after a lot of scratching heads on trying to find out why it was misfiring i decided to take the 172 to a local renault specialist. Plugged it into a clip computer and the only error shown was the misfire. The guy working there did some scatching of heads and came up with the conclusion that...
update: took it to a renault specialist, put it through the clip computer. Only fault showing the misfire. Had a quick check and the guy there sprayed so liquid towards the bottom manifold gasket. the engine would change its tone when cosntantly squirting the liquid towards what seemed to be a...
hmm may be worth checking that then, plan for tomorrow is to do a compression test (think that may be a problem?) and then mess around doing other checks. If they fail ill take it to a renault specialist later on the day to get it plugged into the diag computer.

My 172 is now running but im currently struggling with it misfiring. The problem is that it is only running on 3 cylinders it seems. The engine management light turns itself on after a while and flashes when driving and building up the rev's. I have changed the coilpack and the spark plugs...
