    See this all the time and its always a shame. Breaking it will see your parts go to other people's projects, plus get more cash towards your business. What I'd be tempted to do, is sell off bits to get money back and put car back to standard and get some use out of it.

    Good call @marinemackay2003 I have a shopping list for RPD and new flywheel bolts are on it, just never knew they come with thread lock. Thanks for the heads up

    We use loctite at our work but it too strong, fly wheels bolts need thread lock but nothing too strong that you can't remove then if need be

    Few different types, strengths the the loctite range. Don't want one too weak or unable to take them off again

    Didn't hang about getting them on, looks loads better, actually makes me wonder if I've done the rite thing lol. The blast out did scare me a little tbh!!! The thing is mental, never been in a Clio that still forces you back in your seat in 4th. Bet its nice having tread again

    Absolutely loved reading this thread, nice way to spend Sunday morning in bed. I remember your old 182, made me want a Jon Ashley exhaust and pop and bang rs turner. Your 172 really shows how nice these cars are as a standard unit. Don't know if its just me but still think theses cars stand out...

    Cheers guys @rsdan your fiesta looks a good base, looks solid too. Always stayed away from mk1 due to panels being silly money. I restored a mk2 xr2, did a rs2000 xr2, had a 2 rs2000. Always loved Ford's but think they are over valued now. Xr3 yours as well?

    Starting issues again!

    If your having same issues with a new starter, then its not the starter. If it won't start only when the cars ran (hot) then its heat soak. It's simple, there is something stoping your starter from engaging. Earth or immobiliser is my bet. Who fitted starter motor
