at 220+ you're going to want an LSD, it'll struggle to get the power down, I imagine thats why the 300+ brake Civic is getting 5.5 secs or so 0-60 put the same power in a RWD car of similar weight and you'd prob get 0-60's under 5 secs (BMW M Roadster for instance) hard to get the power down...

worth letting them know, and investigate while under warranty anyway, that way if it doesnt get fixed till next year when warranty is up, say ohhhh hang on a min, i had this fault a year ago and you didnt fix it, warranty it NOW!!!

arnold shark offer 2 years warranty for just shy of £300 iirc maybe it was £400. They've always been ok for warranty work for me but I'd never buy a 2nd hand car from them expecting it to be hassle free.

there's neither more 'proper' than the other, that's a just a daft comment. The Williams and Valver are more 'proper' clio... anyway... mk1 172 is nice, much cheaper to buy, faster than mk2 172 etc etc... I'd consider one when the time comes I want a sub £5k car again...

Not sure for proper internet access via the laptop and mobile but get yourself opera mini for your phone, its a java based thing I think and lets you surf the real internet using your mobile, through normal WAP connection but using the proper internet. and basically lets you check the forum...

Steven no way is it worth it!!! get a 205gti for £1500 and insure TP F & T then sell it for same as u paid for it or more and get a mk1 172 when you hit 21 or 22 when its more reasonable. I've never paid more than £800 for insurance.
