Well I've been a member just over a year and finally got round to fitting my CS Sticker today!!! lol
Didnt have a hair drier handy as Colin and Justin weren't around so had to breathe on it and gently persuade it to come off the backing.
I think I deserve a beer now (washed, detailed...
speak to AJR he's getting some head work done at his dads garage in Helensburgh IIRC.
Whats with the Jocks?! only ever heard an English person say the word Jock lol
well be prepared for some torque steer, watch out for wet drain covers and dont be flooring it as you leave a junction, straighten up before you plant it! no point flooring first, wait for 2nd and nail it muahaha u'll shight your pants the first few times when you're doing 100 before you know it.
dealers will keep you happy from my experience, I got £3500 off list way back in June 04 just cause I asked what the best they could do was! people are paying more now than I paid back then muahaah
dont rely on the 'oil-ok' press the stick daily to bring up the level and check the oil physically regularly too. You dont want your engine running dry for any amount of time.
1380kg and 231ps so ok 228 bhp i stand corrected. 211Nm of torque compared to the 182 having 200Nm but they have a 9000rpm redline!
he never got past me but he caught me no problem, they're quick and they handle.
165bhp / ton in the rx8
161bhp / ton in the 182
I was kinda shocked how quick...
exactly!!! well i guess there's not a huge amount of un-cup'd 182's out there so its probably common with the standard 182 shocks and they dont see it as a big enough problem to fix cause the majority of people buy cup'd 182s...
I'll get it under warranty, have done several times already
No ta to coilovers, apex -40 soon....... and then replace the shocks once they're knackered again.
no comment, dont go there lol the Scottish lads will come along and say similar no doubt, it's a 'sport' it's designed to be driven enthusiastically! :o
Someone posted pics of a yellow megane coupe a while ago, fitted with 182cup alloys, anyone remember who's it is?
