Yesterday I checked all the fuses in the cabin and all the engine bay. ALL OK
So I moved onto checking the power supply on both the resistor module (track 4) – fine, however when I checked the power supply to the motor (track 1) it was only showing 6v (with ignition on). Now the information I...
Thanks, Sounds a pain to have to keep doing that every 6 months!
I plan to get my multimeter out tomorrow to check power @ the motor - what is the best way to do this?
Hopefully the weather is dry tomorrow so that i can check a bit more to try and narrow down whether it is a relay / resistor...
I have found this thread

Thanks
Hi all,
I have the no heating issue which seems quite common on climate control equipped cars, the climate control display functions correctly but there is no air blowing out of the vents.
I recently bought my 182 with this issue and the previous owner told me this fault was diagnosed by...

Didn't like the sound my old stealth made on my cup , convinced it was due to it being stealth and pointing at the floor- too booooooomy.
I vote for recessed as per the 182 :)
Thanks for the input, I have bought some Bosch super plus ones, didn't want to stretch to the aero twins. Hopefully these will be half decent compared to the crap that's on there now!
Well I suppose I only gave half a story, the GFs car was already de iced as it had just been driven , I was late for work so gave up with my scraper and took the GFs car.
It's something I was always remember as being a big no no when I was growing up for risk of cracking the glass. (as already...
Just to resurrect this brilliant thread, I had a de-icing fail this morning as my newly picked up clio has "the" resistor issue therefore doesn't do anything to heat the windows up.
After a liberal dousing of de-icer and lots of scraping my work was undone by it quickly freezing again! So in...
