I'v owned my 182 for just under a year now, It is my first car that i actually own as i'v allways driven my old mans cars for free :)
So here is my sort of project thread of how my first car has been and how it has changed.
So before the credit crunch was here i set about looking for a Clio...
Thanks for all the help guys.
The race team i work for had a portable flat floor that we take to races. So next week when we'r at Castle Combe i'l find out how much camber and toe i have front and back with our gagues and then i'l maybe try the washer thing first :)
From the wear of my R888's on the rear it looks like i have Positive camber :(
So where can i buy camber shims to bash a bit of negative camber on and get some toe out too?
What do your track sla*s use? as in how much negative and toe do you use to help turn in?
I did a little search but...

It's probably a combination of two things, Its probably decatted, silencers removed, just a back box. And the fact he's driving it in a built up area so the sound will be bouncing off the walls. Just like if you drive through a tunnel. Thats what i think :)
When i was changing my discs i started of hitting the disc with my hand, then a small mallet, metal hammer, bigger hammer, much bigger hammer. Eventually i won and the disc came off.

Yozzasport and milltek are...
I get my harnesses Monday, I just need to drill another hole in the centre of the car for the (drivers side) left hand part of the lap strap. Where abouts should i put the hole. I have the FIA backing plates just need to know where to put the holes :)
Cheers :)
Maynard - are you seats bolted to the floor?
I'm glad you asked this question as i'm fitting my harnesses monday :) and did wander if it would pass the MOT with them in. (mine will be slightly different though)
I've just bought a pair of Sabelt 4 point harnesses, 3" shoulder & Lap strap.
How many backing plates will i need? do i only need two for the new holes in the centre of the car? I'm going to be using the original holes for the other 3 points. Should be fine right?
One other thing, i'v...
