Forgot to mention i removed the boot trim and sanded back my earths as had been getting intermittent fog dash lights on braking. Why did Renault put them directly below plastic bungs which let water in?

I was pleasantly surprised with the paint too, as that's only 1 coat! Didn't want to go overboard as it's not needed and just peels.
Having cleaned up the sliders temporarily I ordered some new ones off ebay as for the price you can't go wrong and wanted it doing properly. 72mm X 10mm for front vented discs if of any interest to people who may be wanting some themselves.

I'm going to be doing this tomorrow! I believe a crowbar with the pivot on the bush bracket and then the other end on the bulkhead/floor curve really helps get it into position.

Went to the PPIK 2 years back and it was good fun! How much time would you be looking at for what you pay? Think we got 2 x 15 minute sessions when I went.
If the painter knew there was filler, then surely he should have stripped it right down rather than just painting over the top especially after admitting the paint might not last? I wouldn't really be happy with that after paying for a respray.
