Can you tap water as lube or is that not a good idea ?

Cheers guys heard Bilt hammer is also good and uses tap water as a lube is this correct ?

Just wondering which clay everyone is using I have used the meguires clay bar that comes with there kit and find it quite good , just wondered what else was as good or better also what lube is reqd ? Car is in good cond so wonrt need agressive clay .

Would be intresting to get these cars with different cams to run on same rollers,same day see how they compare as rob said

Cheers Guys used it weekend HOW IMPRESSED AM I !!! hardly anything on the clay after using it . smooth as glass the paintwork is now :approve: But f**k me the smell is BAD !!!!!

Do you spray this on the car when wet or dry it off first (searched but people seem do have different opinions) ? Whats best method to use do you use a sponge to aggitate or just spray and leave for 5-10 mins then rinse then cly or is there no need to clay after using it ?

i am all for making a cheeky bid ,but this place seems to run its own cars into the ground in terms of value .(unless they have just written it off ) Agree with this also sad but SO true !!

^^^^ this Just had mine done for the 2nd time by them since i have owned the car (had it 10 years !) Mint job cant fault em at TCR been looking after mine since it was 6 months old . NEVER Had a problem with anything they have done for me .

If You get a small squeak on hot starts also as the car fires it could also be the crank pulley thats what mine was .

Parts cost more than half of that ! They have never done a 1*2 cambelt before then if they gave you that price LOL then again if thats what they quoted thats all you should pay there fault not yours , did they do aux belt and all the tensioners too ?

As Said if well maintained and serviced and warmed up they are bullet proof clio cup cars run all std internals so that tells you all you need to know.
