rear callipers were past there best so stuck a pair of rear callipers on it and some braided rear brake pipes:
been out doing a bit of visiting in it, started doing some easy miles to come across any teething problems, luckily nothing major its been sweet
ive started winding it up now and...
I wouldn't bother with the strut braces, no improvement to be had. Just make sure you don't want to put the stripes back on as they are over £300 from Renault, if they are still available! that's why I left them on my Twingo
Mick will look after you.
It's not a full fat though just a normal 182, as it doesn't have the cup spoiler pack. You would need to measure the bolt spacing on the front dampers to see if it has the cup suspension.
Nice colour in the flesh the blue!
It may have changed but I couldn't get a ps4s in the size the trophy ran so it was just the normal PS4.
Reading online most people said the PS4 was ALMOST as good as the supersport in the dry and night and day better in the wet but I found it to be noticeably better in both conditions.
I changed mine from supersports to pilotsport4 and the difference was night and day, dry and wet! The PS4 was a much better tyre imo!
I had a low speed, mid bend understeer from new that vanished with the ps4
almost, you need to run a new power cable from the battery to the live on that connector (the ebay epas kit comes with an inline fuse) you then ground it under the dash.
The eBay kit needs you to also ground a wire, take an ignition switched 12v feed (i used the cruise control switch) and comes...
yeah dci has a quicker rack, not sure if its any more robust but it does bolt directly to the subframe so no bushes to worry about.
Yes the EPAS ecu has 3x connectors:
goes directly to the motor its a green cable so you need that with your epas setup you remove from a car
is where your eBay...
Well she went for an MOT and sailed through without an advisory!!! (I would have been disappointed if it didn't given its pretty much been fully rebuilt and every bush and mount replaced lol)
then promptly on the way home from the MOT station threw an abs fault again and lit the dash up like...
Mine runs the dci rack as well as it's a converted van. The dci rack is faster than the 182 one and the assistance set in the middle feels pretty much like the car did as standard on the hydraulic. Around town at max assistance is lovely!
The owner of the red one is on here. I was watching it on eBay when it was on an auction and when it went abover £500 i threw the towel in.
It does look very good condition and they are actually a good little car BUT they don't feel special in any way shape or form which really is what matters...
Ideally you want to replace the standard cat with a pipe rather than gut the standard one, but it can be done just cut it open, gut and weld closed again.
You shouldn't notice any increased smell, not like you would on a decat petrol anyway, you will get a bit more smoke on throttle, a bit...
The twingo is absolutely sound with a poly bushed one too, hardly any extra vibration, I remember one on my old Clio and the dash top was almost vibrating off lol
