my previous car was a good 205 Gti and my current is a good 172.... All I'll say is they are both very good but different.
I changed to the 172 because it was my daily driver and I have two kids, I managed 2 years using the 205 as my daily car.
The pug has no ABS, no PAS and from my...
as far as I'm aware you only pay for the excess mileage if you hand the car back at the end of the full term (i.e 3 or 4 years). If you trade the car in or buy it outright then you don't pay the excess mileage fee. I don't think it adds up to much if you do go over my say 2000 miles a year (well...
I hate second hand car trader's with a passion. I'd rather take my chance at finding a good private sale, cheaper and you can usually tell a good car/owner a mile off.
As said before don't touch the car, get in touch with trading standards, get your money back and then come see me and buy...
Re: The car you wish you never sold... What were they?

probably going to miss the 172 as much when it goes....
oh dear..... any more photo's looked like it held up well (my wife picks one up in two weeks). That looks quite a drop from the road....
and is that the man himself.
find them and kill them....
someone's just scrapped my wife's car today and drove off without stopping or leaving a note. She was having her hair done at the time..
Gonna cost £80 to sort...nevermind she's paying.
Private from a long standing forum member, that way you should be sure that they're not going to sell a lemon and get a bed reputation on the forum. I looked at a couple from Traders and they were in poor condition.
What you looking for? you could buy mine.;)
Amazing and very tastefully done, well done to you....
Just don't finish it off with a big roof spoiler and some Lexus rear lights...
This may have been asked already but forgive me, is white a standard 182 colour on the continent then?
In eight months....
Door knocks removed £60.00
Exhaust Mount £13.50

we've recently bought a caravan (ssssshhhhh don't tell anyone :dapprove:) and the missus has only got a Fiat 500. So mine will be going anytime before easter, hopefully to be replaced with a 330i Touring..
yep as said you should get a good one for that, but bear in mind there's plenty of rubbish about so be prepared to be disappointed before you buy the right one. I saw five, 2 were on the insurance register, 2 that were at dealers were rubbish and the fifth I bought. I must have spent close on...
the crash is one ye olde youtube.....
Imagine ringing the insurance company.....
- errr I've had a crash can you recovery my car.
- certainly sir where have you crashed
- somewhere in Ablania
your not going to get or do a conversion like that on a budget unless your a mechanical genius......I know one and he did a 205 turbo for next to nothing (saying that the 205 parts are simpler/cheaper).
it's like the supercharger conversion for a 306 Gti-6, every Gti-6 owner wants it but not...
they are look at the 17th photo in the link it's next to a car with the original 16's on. I've never seen any other than the original 16's and and the one's you used to see on mondeo's...wonder how he got them to be 17/18"...
Edit
just found them on the net, they're 18x8's specially made...
very nice....
I can remember going to the RS owners club national day a few years ago, we walked into the concourse enclosure and you could smell the heavy sent of autoglym in the air...I need an RS in my life.
