they are not worth any less what a load of bollox ! only difference is alarm ,which most imports have cat 1 upgrade fitted because you cant insure em without , ALL Renaultsports are imported flol !
Put it this way I had avo springs on std shocks sat real low like apex ride was shockingly bad ! Took them off after a week couldn't take it !
Went back to std springs . Drove a clio on std shocks and sportlines couldnt believe the difference , got them on mine now best mod I have done.

No problem at all to keep clean do mine once a year with autosol that's it !
if slam panel rubber bonnet seal is in good condition you don't get ant s**t on engine anyway
Do it you will not regret it for a second ! I thought same as you and after fitting avo springs to std shocks said I would never do it again !
Fitted sportlines last year cannot believe how good that are car is SO MUCH BETTER . Camber bolts no needed .
Wth correct offset and a low weight (I run pro race 1.2) wheel and not silly low handling is better than 16s.

Please explain how a 17" wheel has LESS grip than a 16" wheel when they run same tyres size !!!

17s are as said 5mm bigger in overall diameter ie (f**k All) A lot of better quality alloys are lighter Than std 16s also .
Mine runs 17s and sportlines sits fine looks fine and also handles better than it did on 16s as i have run both , Most people who say 17s are crap ruin...
