Awesome, got it working now! Brilliant stuff.
I wondered why the tomtom.sis kept saying update error....it was because I already had a newer version installed! Uninstalled it and followed the instructions and it works fine!
Internal GPS is alot better than I thought it would be too! Gets a...
How do people rate the portable storage devices that transfer photos from a memory card direct to hard drive without a PC?
Is it better to just buy a couple more memory cards?
I have found 80GB devices for around the £60 mark!
Also, is there such a device that you could attach your own...
LOL ok.
Oh and one other thing. I find the neck straps are a right pain in the arse LOL! So i have been looking for a wrist strap/camcorder style grip strap and found some cheap ones on ebay but do Canon make anything? I have seen the E-1 but that uses the battery grip :( lol
I've got a grip but dont really see the point. It takes 2 rechargeable batteries so no different to swapping over when ones flat. Only benefit is the bigger grip and the fact you can put 6 x AAs in it.
Are those cheap batteries any good. I have one and it holds its charge for about an hour! lol
Ah ok. Well i won't be spending it all at once LOL. I just wanted some idea of what I should be looking at getting.
I'm borrowing my mates Canon 10-22mm at the moment and really like the wide angle at 10mm.
I'm getting a 70-300 first and using my kit lens as a walkabout lens for now. Then i'll...
WOW! They are stunning Chris! Defo going to get the Sigma. Found the APO version for £116!
Dont think the non-APO is available anymore and cant find any second hand Sigmas.
LOL i already have that BUT i really dont see the point!! LOL. It takes 2 batteries so whats any different to just changing the battery over. Much easier and lighter/easier to carry!?!? haha
Yeh i did think about that too but for now the majority of my photography will be done at car shows, track days and of my own car so i guess flash is important for these??
I am going to New York in august and wanted to get the Sigma 10-20 for that but not sure if its worth buying it over there???
Heard lots about the nifty 50 LOL! Whats the point of it though? Seems a bit limited to me.
I just thought 300mm was a good range for when i'm at Silverstone, etc. Is the 55-250 any good?
Cheers!
From what I have found there are only 2 versions. APO and non-APO. UKASKEW used the non-APO and said it was pretty good and the newer APO version is even better.
Good idea to go try them out though! Guess I can just take my cam in!
Oh and do you know best place for Canon...
