I went through a phase of changing cars a lot and it wasn't really the cars that cost the money, but the endless driving about to look at/collect things, as well as insurance changes, tax etc etc. Soon added up I found.
It certainly seems like the C-segment 3dr hatch is coming to the end of it's life. I wonder if the next Astra VXR will still be a three door.
I reserve judgement on this. If they don't do a manual option, I think they will fall foul of the wrath of enthusiasts, like they did with the Clio 4...
Guys, I've been talking to a couple of friends and fellow Clio owners (non-members) about this car and they are both curious on what sort of value would be attached to it. Would you mind sharing, purely out of interest? PM if you prefer, would be much appreciated :)
I saw one of these in my neck of the woods the other day. Looked to be the same colour, had a big exhaust but alloys instead of steels.
Grill is an improvement. Think it could do with something at the front though, a spoiler of some kind.
I know someone who used to have a Saab T16S. It was fairly nippy at the time, but boy did it hate corners lol. He managed to roll it on a dual carriageway. Pleb.

This is the perfect Impreza for me, the RA is definitely the one, especially as it has both the roof vent and DCCD. It's a bit too modified for my taste, but look forward to seeing what you do with it. Very...
I know this isn't eBay/PH etc but saw this for sale on passionford in case anyone is interested: http://passionford.com/forum/cars-for-sale/491615-cheap-ph1-172-project.html
I have a couple of the fake ones and they've done the job. They were so cheap that I just use them for external video. If it comes off and I lose it, it doesn't matter.
I was planning to buy a GoPro as I'd like a mic port for my intercom, but may look into the hack.
Yes, buying a 172 would make more financial sense but, if people wanted to make financial sense, they'd be driving a little diesel runabout. Life is too short.
It's your car and your money, do what you want to it.
So much truth in this. Lowering a car rarely makes it better on the road, it just makes it feel like you're going faster.
The more hardcore and track focused you make the suspension, the worse the car gets on the road and, crucially, the smaller its operating window becomes. Put most people...
Just refresh everything with new OEM bits, they're not too expensive. It will transform it if there are a lot of original bits on there, as they'll likely be pretty worn by now. That's more than fine for a road car in my view.
